My drawings and calligraphy

I started drawing comics when I was a kid and kept the hobby. Over the years, I got interested in gothic, asian and middle eastern calligraphy and ended up studying the old Ottoman Turkish alphabet, which is based on Arabic letters. I briefly worked with Prof. Walter Andrews at the University of Washington on their Bâkî Project which aims to digitize and encode the manuscripts of an exceptionally famous Ottoman poet Bâkî, written in the old Ottoman Turkish alphabet in the 16th century. Rest in peace, my dear teacher.
